Ingredients

  • 2

    C. all-purpose flour

  • 1

    tsp. salt

  • 3

    tsp. baking powder

  • 1

    tsp. baking soda

  • 2 to 5

    Tbsp. cold butter

  • 7/8

    C. plain yogurt

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 450. 2. Mix dry ingredients in bowl. Cut butter into bits and work into flour. 3. Use large spoon to stir yogurt into flour, until mixture forms a ball. Turn onto floured surface and knead ten times. 4. Press into 3/4-inch thick rectangle and cut into 2-inch rounds. Place on ungreased baking sheet. 5. Bake 7 to 9 minutes or until golden brown.
