Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 1/3 c sugar
- 1/3 c light brown sugar
- 2 cups pure pumpkin
- 1 tsp ginger
- 1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground cloves
- 1/2 tsp allspice
- 1/4 tsp cardamom
- pinch salt
- 3/4 c heavy cream
- 3/4 c half and half

Preparation
Step 1
Prepare an unbaked pastry shell for 9 inch pan, you can find it under the apple pie recipe.
Mix eggs. Add pumpkin, sugar, salt and spices blending well. Add the milk combining thoroughly. Stir again just before filling shell.
Bake at 450 degrees for 15 minutes.
Reduce to 325 and bake additional 30 minutes or until filling appears set when pie is gently shaken, except for the 2 inch section towards center.
