Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup vinegar
  • 6 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 large tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1 to 1 -1/2 tsp dry mustard
  • 1 to 1 -1/2 cup milk

Step 1

Put vinegar and butter in top of double boiler. Put aside in a bowl the sugar, flour, salt and dry mustard. Beat eggs and milk together; use some of this mixture to blend dry ingredients. Now beat all together and add to double boiler. Cook and continue beating until thickened.
