Ingredients

  • 2 - 2 pie crusts
  • 3/4 - 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 - 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/3 - 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 - 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 4 - 4 cups pared, sliced, tart apples
  • 2 - 2 cups fresh cranberries (whole or chopped)
  • 2 - 2TBS butter

Preparation

Step 1

1) Heat oven to 425.

2) In large bowl, combine sugars, flour and cinnamon. Add fruit. Mix well.

3) Turn into a pastry-lined pan. Dot with butter. Cover and cut slits in top of crust. Seal edges. Bake for 40 minutes or until golden brown. (Put foil around edges of crust for the first 20 minutes, then remove for remaining time.)
