Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds beef
- 8 cups water
- 3 stalks celery, chopped
- 3 large carrot, chopped
- 2 red onion, chopped
- 1 (28 oz. can) italian style tomato, undrained and chopped
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 ½ teaspoons sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon marjoram, dried
- 2 cups frozen green lima beans
- 1 cup frozen kernel corn
- 1 cup frozen green peas

Preparation
Step 1
Combine first 12 ingredients in a large Dutch oven.
1. Bring to a boil; cover, reduce heat, and simmer 1 hour.
2. Add lima beans, corn, and peas.
3. Return to a boil; reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, 15 minutes.
4. Remove bay leaf.
