Chocolate Spritz cookies AKA chocolate dogs
These are the chocolate cookies I have made for the holidays for many years.

Ingredients
- 3-1/3 cups flour
- 1-1/2 cups sugar
- 3/4 cup butter
- 3/4 cup shortening
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 beaten eggs
- 6 squares melted unsweetened chocolate, cooled

Preparation
Step 1
Cream butter and shortening. Add sugar and cream well.
Add beaten eggs, vanilla and room temperature chocolate. Combine thoroughly. Cut in flour one half at a time. Refrigerate for 30 minutes minimum.
Use cookie press to press on cookie sheets. Bake at 375 degrees F. 8-10 minutes.
