Cream Of Coconut Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 box (18.5 ounce size) white cake mix, plus ingredients to prepare
  • 1 can (14 ounce size) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 can (15 ounce size) cream of coconut, not coconut milk
  • 1 carton (8 ounce size) Cool Whip
  • flaked coconut

Preparation

Step 1

Grease and flour 9 x 13 baking dish. Prepare cake mix as package directs.

Combine sweetened condensed milk with cream of coconut and set aside. While cake is still warm, poke holes all over with fork and then pour milk mix over it--ALL OF IT as the cake will absorb it.

"Frost" the cake with cool whip and sprinkle with flaked coconut. Keep refrigerated.
