Ingredients
- 4 4 4 eggs, separated
- 1 1 1 cup sugar
- 2 2 2 Tablespoons flour
- 1/4 1/4 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 1/2 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 1 1 Tablespoon rum
- 2 2 2 cups finely chopped pecans
- 1 8 1 8 8 oz bar sweet chocolate
- 1/2 1/2 1/2 cup sour cream
- whipped cream

Preparation
Step 1
heat oven o 250*
spray 2 8 inch round cake pans with cooking spray
beat egg whites until stiff and set aside
beat egg yolks and gradually add sugar
stir in flour, salt, and baking powder and rum
fold in ground pecans and stiffly beat egg whites
pour into prepared pans and bake 30 minutes
cool pans on wire rack for 20 minutes
remove cakes from pans to wire rack to finish cooling
when cakes are completely cool, melt chocolate and mix in sour cream
put one cake layer flat bottom side up
top with whipped cream
top with second layer, flat side down
pour chocolate icing over top and sides
