Ingredients
- 1/2 lb. stew meat
- 4 carrots, chopped
- 2 potatoes, chopped
- 2 onions, diced
- 4 ribs celery, diced
- 1 c. finely minced cabbage
- 1-15 oz. can tomato sauce
- 1 tsp. seasoned salt
- 2 tsp. oregano
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 tsp. thyme
- 1 tsp. garlic powder

Preparation
Step 1
Place stew meat in a dutch oven and cover with water (about 2 inches above the meat). Bring to a simmer over medium heat. Simmer 1 hour (if the water level decreases, add more, as needed). Add remaining ingredients. Continue cooking over medium heat for 30 min., or until vegetables are tender.
