Ingredients
- 2 C minus 2 Tbsp cake flour
- 1 2/3 c bread flour
- 1 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 1/4 c unsalted butter room temp
- 1 1/2 tsp coarse salt
- 1 c plus 2 Tbsp sugar
- 1 1/4 c packed light brown sugar
- 2 large eggs room temp
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/4 lb chocolate chips

Step 1
1. sift flours, baking soda, baking powder and salt into a bowl and set aside.
2. using a mixer with a paddle attachment, cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy?. 3 to 5 min
3. reduce speed and add eggs one at a time, then add vanilla.
4. slowly add dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.
5. fold in chocolate chips. refrigerate for 24- 36 hours.
6. DO NOT SKIP REFRIGERATION
7. when ready to bake, preheat oven to 350. allow dough to come to room temp.
8. drop spoonfuls of dough onto baking sheet. bake 10-12 min
