Cook in water (enough to cover). Add salt. Cook about 10 to 15 minutes. Drain almost all water. Add 1 1/2 Tablespoons flour (coat vegetables). Add 1 Tablespoon butter. Add milk (about 1/3 of pan). Heat on high to thicken and then warm. Stir.
