Ingredients
- 3 3 3 tblsp unsalted butter
- 1/2 1/2 1/2 cup sliced onion
- 2 2 2 tblsp minced fresh ginger
- 1 1 1 tblsp minced garlic
- 1 1 1 cup dry basmati rice
- 2 2 2 cups water
- 1/4 1/4 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro

Preparation
Step 1
Melt butter in saucepan over medium heat. Add onion, ginger, and garlic; cook 3 minutes. Stir in rice to coat with butter, then add water and bring to a boil. Reduce mixture to a simmer, cover, and cook rice according to package directions, about 20 minutes. Let rice stand 10 minutes; stir in cilantro and season with salt.
