- 1/2 cup unpopped popcorn kernels
- 2 Tbsp. canola, vegetable, or coconut oil
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp. salt

Preparation
Step 1
Begin to make stovetop popcorn. When popping has almost subsided, remove pot from heat. Add sugar and salt, then return to low heat 20 seconds, shaking 3 or 4 times. The sugar should be just starting to melt and caramelize. Transfer popcorn to a large bowl and serve.
