Ingredients
- CAKE:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 Cups Granulated sugar
- 2 lightly beaten eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cups chopped pecans
- 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple with juice
- FROSTING:
- 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 1 stick butter, softened
- 1 1/4 - 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preparation
Step 1
TO MAKE CAKE:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a large bowl, put flour, sugar and baking soda. Make a well in the center and add the eggs, vanilla and crushed pineapple. Mix well to blend.
Bake in an UNGREASED 13"x9" pan for 40-50 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
TO MAKE FROSTING:
In a medium bowl, combine remaining ingredients. Beat until creamy. Spread on warm cake.
