I served as a side dish for a brunch. Although the recipe says it will brown, mine didn’t. Riley loved these, and even wanted to take home the leftovers.

Ingredients

  • 1 16 1 16 1 16 ounce bag refrigerated hash brown
  • 1/4 1/4 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 1/2 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 1/2 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 1 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 1 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Toss hash browns with olive oil, garlic powder and paprika. Season with salt and pepper ( I didn’t add salt.). Add egg and cheese until evenly combined.
Spread the hash browns into an even layer. Bake until crispy, about 30 minutes.
