Beer - Zombie Dust Clone (Galaxy Hops)
By gMinor
Zombie dust is an award winning Pale Ale from Three Floyds brewing. Even though the flavor is pretty intense, it's very drinkable and the aroma is outstanding. This is a little different because I use Galaxy instead of Citra Hops. But whenever I make it this way, it's a huge hit.

Preparation
Step 1
Warm the starter to about 155°F and steep all the grains for 60 minutes.
When removing the grains, immediately add the first 1/2 Ounce of Galaxy Hops and start the timer. Set heat to high, but don't wait for the boil.. Add the first hops immediately.
Once boiling, stir in the Dry Malt Extract.
At 30 minutes, add another 1/2 ounce of Galaxy Hops.
At 40 minutes, add another 1/2 ounce of Galaxy Hops.
At 45 minutes, add another 1/2 ounce of Galaxy Hops.
At 59 minutes, add another 1 ounce of Galaxy Hops.
At the end of the boil (Timer hits 60 minutes) chill and top off to 5 gallons. Don't forget to measure your OG (I always forget). Add the English Ale Yeast and let it ferment for in a cool (65 degrees) place.
After 10 days, transfer to a secondary and add the last 3 ounces of Galaxy Hops in bags. Leave in the secondary for another 10 days.
Take 3/4 cup of Water, add the Priming sugar and bring to a boil. Then let it cool. Once cool, mix into the beer then bottle.
This recipe requires some patience, but it's definitely worth it. Big time.
