Ingredients

  • 1 1 15 to 15 bean soup mix - No need to soak them.
  • Spice pack that comes with the beans.
  • 1 1 1 onion
  • Couple of bay leaves
  • 4 4 4 stalks of diced celery
  • Some diced carrot
  • 48 48 48 Oz. Of chicken broth
  • 2 2 2 cups diced ham
  • Leftover ham bone

Preparation

Step 1

Set the PPC to the Soup setting and let it get hot
Put a little butter in the bottom of the pan and then saute the onion
Add broth, bay leave(s), beans, the spice back that came with the beans, and the ham bone

Set the PPC for 50 minutes on the soup setting.
After the 50 minutes, do a Quick Release
Now is a good time to remove the bay leave(s)

Add celery, carrots and diced ham
Cook 15 minutes longer and then let it do a natural release.
