  • 2 lb fresh jalapenos, sliced, seeds in
  • 2 lb onions diced
  • 1/2 C vinegar
  • 1 1/2 C water
  • 6-8 C sugar, usually use 7
  • 2 T mustard seed
  • 1 t turmeric
  • 2 t celery seed
  • 2 T garlic powder
  • 1 t ginger

Preparation

Step 1

Put jalapenos and onions in pot with water and vinegar. Boil until almost tender about 10-15 min. Add remaining ingredients and boil until the sugar is dissolved and the liquid becomes syrupy, about 15-20 min.
