Ingredients

  • 1/2 1/2 1/2 cups creamy style peanut butter
  • 1/2 1/2 1/2 cup powered sugar sifted
  • 1 1 1 Tablespoon unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 2 2 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 25-28 25-28 8 maraschino cherries with stem on (at least an 8 ounces jar the count varies by brand), drained
  • Dipped chocolate
  • 5 5 5 ounces semisweet chocolate
  • 1 1 1 Tablespoon oil ( Coconut/safflower/ etc.)

Preparation

Step 1

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Combine first 4 ingredients in small bowl; mix well. Shape into 25-28 balls and set on paper Chill well !
Pat cherries dry with paper towel. Flatten peanut butter balls and carefully wrap around cherries, encasing the base of the cherry stem Chill for a least 3 hours.
For dipping; melt chocolate and oil in small sauce pan over hot not boiling water. Do not allow water to drop into chocolate. Keep chocolate between 100/110 degrees. Let cool before dipping,then dip and place on baking sheet. Cool for a least 3 hours and put away.
