Ingredients

  • 1 1 1 unbaked deep-dish pie crust (9 inches)
  • 1 1 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1 1 1 cup shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
  • 2 2 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 4 4 4 large eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1-1/2 1-1/2 1-1/2 cups whole milk
  • 2 2 2 tablespoons chopped green onion
  • 1/4 1/4 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 1/8 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/8 1/8 1/8 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/8 1/8 1/8 teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed
  • 1/2 1/2 1/2 cup diced fully cooked ham
  • 1/2 1/2 1/2 cup chopped fresh broccoli

Step 1

Line unpricked pie crust with a double thickness of heavy-duty foil. Bake at 450° for 8 minutes. Remove foil; bake 5 minutes longer. Cool on a wire rack while preparing filling.

Toss cheeses with flour; set aside. In a large bowl, combine the eggs, milk, onion and seasonings. Stir in the ham, broccoli and the cheese mixture. Pour into prepared crust.

Bake at 350° for 55-60 minutes or until set. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting. Yield: 8 servings.
