  • 3 3 3 c packed brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 1 1/2 1/2 c soy sauce
  • 5 5 5 T sparkling dessert wine or sparkling grape juice
  • 3 3 3 T sesame oil
  • 2 2 2 chopped green onions
  • 2 2 2 chopped garlic cloves
  • 1 1 1 t pepper
  • 4 5 4 5 4 - 5 lb beef tenderloin, rib-eye, or top sirloin, thinly sliced

Preparation

Step 1

In a large bowl, whisk together the sugar, soy sauce, sparkling wine, sesame oil, green onions, garlic cloves and pepper.

And the thinly sliced beef; coat completely.

Cover and refrigerate 4 -5 hours.

Preheat grill to medium. Grill beef until medium-well, 3 - 5 minutes, flipping halfway through. Transfer beef to serving platter and serve on top of steamed white rice, topped with chopped green onion and toasted sesame seeds
