Ingredients

  • 2 large bags chocolate morsels
  • 3 T. vanilla
  • 1 T. peanut butter
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 c. evaporated milk
  • 4 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. chopped nuts (optional)

Preparation

Step 1

Butter pans. Put chocolate morsels and butter in a large bowl. Set aside. Put peanut butter, vanilla and nuts in a bowl and set aside. Measure sugar and milk in a saucepan. Put on stove and let come to a slow boil. After boiling starts, boil exactly 6 minutes. Pour mixture over chocolate morsels and butter. Mix thoroughly with mixer until thick and creamy. Mix in remaining ingredients. Pour into buttered pans.
