Ingredients
- 2/3 cup shortening (Crisco)
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar - (packed)
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 2 1/2 cup flour
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- 3/4 cup raisins
- 3/4 cup chopped walnuts
- GLAZE
- 2 tablespoons soft butter
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons water

Preparation
Step 1
1. Cream shortening and add sugars and beat. Stir in eggs, vanilla, water and pumpkin. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Add to other ingredients, then add spice, raisins and nuts.
2. Drop by teaspoons on ungreased cookie sheet (they don't spread much) and bake in 350F oven for 15-18 minutes.
3. When almost cool, frost them with glaze.
