Excellent , have made many times. Usually cook foil packet in the oven @ 350-375 degrees.

Ingredients

  • 4 medium potatoes(use Yukon Gold potatoes), cut into 1-inch chunks
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 T. butter or margarine
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (4 ounces)
  • 2 T. Betty Crocker Bac-Os bacom flavor chips ( can use bacon bits)
  • 2 medium green onions, sliced ( 2 T.)

Preparation

Step 1

Heat coals or gas grill for direct heat or preheat oven 350-375 degrees. Place potatoes on 30x18 inch piece of heavy -duty aluminum foil. Sprinkle with salt. Dot with butter. Sprinkle with cheese with cheese and bacon bits.

Wrap foil securely around potatoes, pierce tip of foil once or twice with fork to vent steam. Cover and grill foil packet, seam side up, 45-60 minutes or until potatoes are tender. Sprinkle with onions.
