Ingredients
- 2 2 2 tsp salt
- 2 2 2 tsp paprika
- 1 1 1 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 1 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 1 1 tsp thyme
- 1 1 1 tsp white pepper
- 1/2 1/2 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 1/2 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 1 1 large roasting chicken
- 1 1 1 cup chopped onion

Preparation
Step 1
-In a small bowl combine spices.
-Remove any giblets from chicken and clean.
-Rub spice mixture onto the chicken
-place in a resealable plastic bag and refrigerate overnight
-When ready to cook, put chopped onion in bottom of crock pot
-Add chicken. No liquid is needed, the chicken will make its own juices
-Cook on low 4-8 hours
Note: pop up timer recommended in chicken to get the right temp
