Ingredients

  • 1 1 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 8 8 8 ounces sour cream
  • 2/3 2/3 2/3 cup oil
  • 4 4 4 eggs
  • Icing
  • 2 1/2 2 1/2 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 3 3 3 cups water
  • 1 1 1 pound fine shredded coconut
  • 1 1 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 10 10–15 10–15 large marshmallows

Step 1

Directions
Mix cake ingredients and bake according to directions on box.
For icing, mix sugar, water, coconut and vanilla and bring to a boil. Turn heat down to medium and boil for 20 minutes. Take off burner and add marshmallows; stir until melted.
Cool slightly and spoon on each layer while cake is still warm.
