  • coarse sea salt
  • 3 3 3 C whole wheat flour
  • 1 1 1 T baking powder
  • 1/4 1/4 1/4 C honey
  • 1 1 ounce) bottle 1 (12 ounce) bottle beer

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan with butter.

In a medium bowl, combine the flour, baking powder and honey. Pour in the beer and stir until just combined. Spoon the dough into prepared pan and smooth out the top. Pat with butter & sprinkle with coarse sea salt.

Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the bread is lightly golden on top. Let cool for 5 minutes in the pan on a wire rack, then turn the bread out onto a cutting board. Slice and serve.
