Ingredients

• 2 2 2 lg (40 oz.) cans butter beans
• 1 1/4 1 1/4 1/4 cup dark karo syrup
• 1 1 1 cup dark brown sugar
• 6 6 6 slices bacon
• 1/2 1/2 1/2 tsp salt
• 1/4 1/4 1/4 tsp pepper
• 1/2 1/2 1/2 cup yellow mustard
• 3/4 3/4 3/4 cup ketchup

Preparation

Step 1

drain beans, set liquid aside to moisten beans later if needed.
combine all ingredients except bacon together in a large bowl. pour into 2 quart baking dish, lay bacon slices on top. bake at 350 until brown and bubbling.
