mum's pecan pie

can flute the pie crust edges by pinching with thumb and fingers. cover later in the baking so doesn't burn.
I loved it. Too sweet for Joons.
Can make days ahead, freeze and pull out morning of serving

Ingredients
- 3 beaten eggs
- 1 cup dark Karo syrup
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1 cup pecan halves
- 1/3 stick melted butter
- 1 ts vanilla
- 1/4 ts salt

Preparation
Step 1
Set oven to 350
whisk the wet ingredients together. add the pecans.
Make a pie crust and combine all the rest of the ingredients and pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake 45 minutes. freeze
