Ingredients
- 4-6 4-6 4-6 Granny Smith Apples, cored, cut into wedges
- 1 1 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 4 4 4 lb loin pork roast
- 1 1 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 1/2 1/2 tsp fresh ground pepper
- 2 2 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 2 2 red onions, quartered
- 1 1 1 fresh sage sprig
- 1 1 1 fresh rosemary sprig

Preparation
Step 1
Toss apples with lemon juice. Set aside.
Season roast with salt and pepper.
Heat oil in skillet over medium high heat. Brown roast on all sides. Remove.
Place onions in the bottom of a slow cooker. Top with seared roast.
Surround roast with apples.
Place sage and rosemary on top.
Cover and cook on high for 4 hours or on low for 7-8 hours.
Discard sage and rosemary. Slice pork and serve with applesauce.
