Ingredients

  • 1/2 1/2 1/2 c Xhzoxing rice wine, dry sherry, or sake
  • 3 3 2 T plus 2 t soy sauce
  • 1 1 1 T cornstarch
  • 1 1 1 lb cheikh or rib steak sliced thin against the grain
  • 1/4 1/4 1/4 c oyster sauce
  • 1/2 1/2 to 1/2 chili garlic sauce or to taste ( I use 1/2 t
  • 1/2 1/2 1 cup plus 1 T neutral oil, like canola, grapeseed or peanut
  • 1 1 1 lb broccoli, the head cut into florets and the stems peeled and cut into planks
  • 2 2 2 T unsalted butter

Step 1

1. In a large bowl, whisk together the wine . 2 T of the soy sauce,and the cornstarch. Add the beef to the bowl and toss to combine, then cover and set aside 20 min or so.
