  • 2 2 2 tsp onion powder
  • 2 2 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 1/4 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper

  • 1/2 1/2 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 6 6 6 Tbs molasses
  • 2 2 2 Tbs Dijon mustard
  • 1 1 1 Tbs cider vinegar
  • 1/2 1/2 1/2 tsp liquid smoke

Step 1

1. Combine paprika, sugar, onion powder, garlic powder, cayenne, 2 tsp salt, 1 Tbs pepper in bow. Pat ribs dry with paper towels; rub with spice mixture/

2. Arrange ribs upright in slow cooker, its thick ends pointing down and meaty sides against wall 9ribs will overlap). Cover and cook until ribs are just tender, 7 - 8 hours on low, or 4 -5 hours on high.

4. Whisk ketchup, molasses, mustard, vinegar, and liquid smoke together in bowl. Brush ribs with half of sauce; broil until sauce is bubbling and beginning to char, about 5 minutes. Brush rib with remaining sauce, tent loosely with foil, and et rest for 10 minutes. Cut rib in between the bones to separate. Serve.
