Glazed Cottage Roll (Daddy)

Ingredients

• 1 sweet pickled cottage roll
• 1 bay leaf
• 6 whole cloves
• 1 onion, quartered
• 1 to 2 tsp minced garlic
• 3 tbsp prepared mustard
• 3 tbsp brown sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Place cottage roll in large dutch oven, cover with water
Add bay leaf, cloves and onion
Bring to a boil, cover pan and reduce heat to simmer
Cook for 1 1/2 to 2 hours
Remove cottage roll from pan, remove netting
Place in shallow pan sprayed with Pam
Mix mustard and brown sugar and spread over cottage roll
Bake 15 to 20 minutes at 350 degrees
