Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/2 cup celery, diagonally sliced
- 2 onions, sliced
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 (19oz) can pinepple tidbits
- 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
Preparation
Step 1
Cook ground beef, drain fat and set aside
In frypan, melt butter, stir in celery, onions and garlic
Cook until celery is tender crisp
Sprinkle with a mixture of brown sugar, flour and salt
Drain pineapple, measure juice and add sufficient water to make 1 cup
Pour in pan with vinegar
Cook and stir constantly until thickened
Stir in pineapple and ground beef
Serve with rice
