Cider-Glazed Turnips

Ingredients
- 3 Tbs. butter, divided
- 2 lbs. turnips, peeled & cut into sticks
- 2/3 c. apple cider
- 3 Tbs. brown sugar
- Sea salt & pepper
- 2 Tbs. chopped fresh parsley

Step 1
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Grease a 13X9 baking dish with 1 Tbs. butter & arrange turnips in dish in single layer. Combine remaining butter, cider, sugar, S & P in small pot & cook over medium heat until melted & well combined. Pour over turnips.
Cover dish with foil & bake 20 min. Stir turnips & continue to bake, uncovered, stirring occasionally, until fork tender & liquid has reduced, 20-30 min. more. Sprinkle with parsley & serve.
