Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 package dry yeast
  • 1 1/2 cups lukewarm water
  • 4 cups flour
  • salt
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • oil
  • 1 Tbsp rosemary

Preparation

Step 1

Add the sugar and yeast to lukewarm water in a large bowl and stir until dissolved. Add flour, 2 tsp salt and onion. Turn out on floured board and knead until smooth. Place dough in a greased bowl and let rise until doubled in bulk. Punch down. Flatten dough on a greased baking sheet to round shape, about 2 inches thick. Brush top of dough with oil. Let rise until doubled in bulk. Sprinkle with salt and rosemary.

Bake at 400 degrees, 30-35 minutes. Serve hot
