Ingredients
- 1 3/4 c. flour
- 1/2 c. unsweetened cocoa
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. margarine, softened
- 1 1/4 c. sugar
- 2 tbsp. light corn syrup
- 2 squares unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tbsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. icing sugar

Preparation
Step 1
In a small bowl, whisk flour, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder, and salt until blended.
In large bowl, with mixer at medium speed, beat butter, sugar, corn syrup until combined. Reduced speed to low; beat in chocolate, eggs and vanilla until well blended. Beat in flour mixture until combined, scraping bowl occasionally with spatula. Cover dough and refrigerate for 1 hour.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place icing sugar in small bowl. Shape dough by level measuring teaspoons into 1" balls; roll in icing sugar.
Place cookies 1" apart, on parchment lined cookie sheets.
Bake until set, about 8 minutes. Transfer to wire racks to cool.
