Blueberry-Spice Bread

Ingredients
- 2 c. unbleached all-purpose flour
- 4 tbsp. sugar
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp. allspice
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon, divided
- 1/4 tsp. cloves
- 2 tsp. 2 tsp. grated orange zest
- 1 1/2 c. fresh or frozen blueberries
- 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 c. low-fat milk
- 3 tbsp. unsalted butter, melted

Step 1
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Lightly coat a 9x5" loaf pan with baking spray.
Sift the flour, 3 tbsp. of the sugar, the baking powder, salt, nutmeg,all-spice, 1/4 tsp. of the cinnamon, and the cloves into a large bowl. Add the orange zest. Measure 1 tbsp. of the mixture and add to the blueberries in a medium bowl. Toss lightly until the blueberries are coated with the flour mixture.
Whisk together the eggs, milk, and butter in a small bowl until well mixed. Stir the liquid ingredients into the dry ingredients until just moist. Gently stir in the blueberries.
Spoon the batter into prepared pan. Stir together the remaining 1/4 tsp cinnamon and 1 tbsp. sugar and sprinkle over the loaf. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until light golden brown and a wooden toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
