Ingredients
- ¼ cup olive oil
- ¼ cup butter, melted
- 1 tsp. seasoned salt
- 1 tsp. Cajun seasoning
- 1 tsp. finely chopped garlic
- 1 ½ tsp. finely chopped fresh rosemary
- ¾ tsp. dried thyme
- 1 tsp. fresh lemon juice
- ½ tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 large sweet onions
- 4 (12- to 14-oz.) T-bone steaks
- Salt
- Freshly ground pepper
- Garnishes: fresh rosemary sprigs, fresh thyme sprigs

Step 1
Stir together olive oil and next 8 ingredients in a small bowl; set aside.
Cut onions into ½-in. slices; brush with oil mixture. Cook onions in a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat 2 minutes on each side or until lightly browned. Arrange slices in a single layer on a platter; brush tops with oil mixture. Reserve remaining mixture. Cover onions; chill at least 1 hour. (This can be done up to 24 hours before serving.)
Preheat grill to 350° to 400°.
Brush both sides of steaks with oil mixture. Grill steaks, covered with grill lid, 4 minutes on each side for medium doneness. Remove steaks from grill; let rest 5 minutes. Grill onion slices 1 minute on each side. Salt and pepper steak and onions to taste. Garnish if desired. Serve immediately.
