Ingredients

  • 4 T. margarine
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 cup long grain rice
  • Salt & Pepper
  • 1 1/2 can chicken stock
  • 1/4 cup currants
  • 1 T. butter

Preparation

Step 1

Melt margarine in small sauce pan, add onion and cook until golden brown. Stir in raw rice and cook 3 min. Season with salt and pepper and chicken stock. Cover and bake at 375 until liquid is dissolved. Remove and enjoy.

Melt 1 T. butter and combine currants. Combine with rice.
