Bacon Hash Brown Quiche
- 3 c. frozen has browns thawed & squeeed with dry towels
- 1 tbs. butter
- 1/4 c. parmesan cheese shredded
- 12 slices of bacon, crispy and crumbled
- 1 c. swiss cheese (4 oz.)
- 1/3 c. onion
- 4 eggs
- 2 c. half and half
- 1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
- Monterey cheese to taste
Preheat oven to 425 deg.
Lightly grease pie pan In a med. bowl combine butter and has browns.
Press potato mixture into prepared pan spreading with fingers to cover bottom and sides of pan
baked until golden 20-25 min.
Cool crust and reduce overn to 350. Combine filling ingredients. Top with cheese if wanted. Bake 20-25 min. Let stand 10 min.
