Hey friends, just dropping in with a super easy recipe for all of my corn loving friends. Have you ever had that frozen corn that comes in a butter sauce? I believe Green Giant makes it and it's SO GOOD! Well, this recipe will show you how to make your own at home using frozen corn and a few simple ingredients - and it is a lot cheaper, too!

Ingredients

  • 32 ounces frozen whole kernel corn (2-16 ounce packages)
  • 1 stick butter (1/2 cup)
  • 1 cup Whipping cream
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

Step 1


Place butter in large skillet over medium heat to melt.

Add frozen corn.

Stir and continue cooking over medium heat for a few minutes, until mostly thawed.

Add in whipping cream and sugar, salt and pepper to taste. Continue cooking over medium heat, stirring constantly to prevent cream from scorching, for ten to fifteen minutes, until corn is cooked through and sauce is thick.
