Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 onion
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 large can evaporated milk
- 1 1/2 cups rice
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon tarragon
- chicken pieces

Preparation
Step 1
Brown onion in the butter
add both soups and the milk
add rice, pepper and tarragon to soup mixture and heat gently for 5 minutes
pour into bottom of large greased casserole
place chicken pieces on top of rice
cook at 250* for 2 hours, covered and 1/2 hour uncovered
can put 1/2 cup melted butter on top
