Miso soup is a traditional Japanese soup in which we use dashi for the base, then mix with miso paste. Jyagaimo means potato. You might not think so, but potatoes goes really well with miso soup.

  • 1 potato (cut into thin French fry shapes)
  • 1/8 cup chopped green onion
  • Spices
  • 1 tsp hon dashi
  • 2 tbsp miso paste

Preparation
Boil 3 cups of water
When the water boils, add potato and cook 3 minutes, or until soft
Add hon dashi, miso, and mix
Serve in a small bowl with green onions
