Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups long-grain rice
  • 1/2 cup wild rice
  • 1 envelope onion soup mix
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 bunch scallions, chopped
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/4 cup melted butter

Step 1

Combine all ingredients. Pour into sprayed slow cooker. Cook on high 2 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally.

Very good. Careful not to cook too long - gets mushy.
