Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken wings (5 pieces each)
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • Zest of 1 lemon, peeled or finely grated
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 small sprig rosemary
  • 1/4 teaspoon coarse salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper

Step 1

Combine garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, mustard, olive oil, rosemary, salt, red pepper flakes and black pepper in a large resealable plastic bag. Add chicken wings, seal bag, and turn to coat. Chill at least 1 hour or overnight.

Add wings to Actifry and set for 30 minutes.

n.b. The first time I made these, we were watching a show and I set the Actifry for 30 minutes and they cooked for about 35. They were falling off the bone. Next time, try marinading them overnight then draining (reserve the marinade) the next morning and laying them on a parchment-lined plate in the fridge for a few hours to dry out. Start checking them at 20 minutes and add the reserved marinade back for a few minutes just before serving.
