Cinnamony Apple Pie

Ingredients
- 1 pkg Pillsbury pie crust
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp cinnamon candies, crushed
- 1/3 c honey
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 3 to 4 c thinly sliced and peeled apples (about 4-6)
- 1 Tbsp butter
- 1 tsp half and half or milk

Preparation
Step 1
1. Press one crust in bottom of a 9-inch pie plate. Do not bake. Heat oven to 450 degrees.
2. Heat lemon juice in small saucepan. Add crushed cinnamon candies. Stir until dissolved. Stir in honey and cinnamon. Arrange apples in unbaked pie crust. Drizzle with honey mixture. Dot with butter. Moisten pastry edge with water.
3. Cover pie with top crust. Cut slits in top crust to allow steam to escape.
4. Brush with half and half or milk. Place pie in oven. REDUCE OVEN TEMPERATURE TO 350 DEGREES. Bake 1 hour or until filling in center is bubbly and crust is golden brown. Cool until barely warm or to room temperature before serving.
