Ingredients

  • 1/2 1 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 sweet red pepper
  • 2 tsps salt
  • 70 ml white wine
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 4 to 8 hot chiles, depending on the heat, chopped
  • 2 - 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp oregano

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oil on medium to low setting.

When Oil is hot and sweet peppers and garlic.

Add the white wine.

Add lemon juice.

Simmer 10 minutes.

Add chiles, salt and oregano and remove from heat. Allow to cool.

Puree in blender.

Will keep in refriderator for 1 month.
