Ingredients

  • 1 lb. italian sausage
  • 1 1/2 tsp. crushed red peppers
  • 2 tsp. garlic puree
  • 5 bubes chicken bouillon
  • 1 lb. sliced Russet potatoes
  • (or 3 lg. potatoes)
  • 1 lg. diced white onion
  • 4 tbsp. bacon pcs.
  • 10 c. water
  • 1 c. heavy cream
  • 1/4 bunch kale

Preparation

Step 1

Saute sausage and crushed peppers in lg. pot. Drain fat, refrigerate. In same pan, saute bacon, onions, garlic over low-med heat @ 15 min. or till onions are soft. Add chicken bouillon & water to pot & heat till it starts to boil. Add potatoes & cook till soft (about 1/2 hr.) Add hvy cr. & cook till thoroughly heated. Stir in sausage & kale. Let heat through and serve.
