Ingredients
- 1/2 pound monterey jack cheese, finely grated
- 1/4 cup minced green onion
- 1/4 cup minced fresh parsley
- 1 tablespoon minced fresh dill-weed
- 3 eggs
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 pound phyllo pastry sheets
- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted

Step 1
Preheat. Oven to 350 degree f. Generously grease baking sheet. Combine cheeses, onion, parsley and dill in large mixing bowl. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in baking powder and blend well. Place 1 heaping teaspoon of cheese mixture on bottom end of each. Pastry strip and shape into triangles as directed (see accompanying box). Place on greased baking sheets. Brush triangles with melted butter, reserving some for brushing again halfway through baking time. Bake 25 to 30 minutes, or until crisp and golden. Serve hot.
